The diffrence between software and construction

We are still in ABC stage of Software development compare to Building Constructions. Primary reason for this is that software is only 40-50 years old and Building Construction was there at least from 2000+ years. Building constructiors already has a proven engineering mechanism to build on top, where Software developers beging a good platform to build upon. Just like all other industries, Software will get matured, but not so soon. Infact, not in our lifetime.
